First introduced in 2004 to an enthusiastic reception, the R32 delivers the ultimate in Volkswagen sports performance with dynamic handling and refined road manners.

With 250 horsepower and 236 ft. lbs. of torque, the R32 is all muscle. The standard 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system transfers at least 75 percent of available torque to the rear wheels. Volkswagen’s acclaimed DSG® transmission allows for seamless gear changes and accelerates from 0-60 in approximately 6.4 seconds.

the gti does in 6 seconds while VW says it does it in 6.7 seconds these are conservative numbers unlike the made up ones that some companies do. These are real world and not drag strip numbers, they are also for 0-62. The magazines will get the R32 in the 5.7 range, if not quicker.

IT'S THE VW ESTIMATE.

They're just like Audi- always being conservative in 0-60 times.

No matter how fast it goes, the GTI will be more fun.
