What Are The Most-Recalled Vehicles of 2006?

Last week, Honda Motor announced a global recall of 45,000 Civic Hybrid sedans, hoping to correct defective voltage converters that could cause short circuits, stopping the cars' engines and preventing them from restarting.

This is an example of a recall at its most serious: a grave problem affecting a large number of vehicles, prompting the automaker to spring to action and immediately contact owners.

Other recalls, on the other hand, are not so grim.

Exactly they acted quick and didn't hide their mistake. No one is perfect for sure, but the good goes for the more honest.

45,000 units for a Honda recall is NOTHING! Look at VW with first a 300,000 unit recall followed by a 800,000 unit recall for faulty brake lights.

Look at BMW and the history of recalls for the X5. Every model year has been recalled 2000-2006. Before you get mad Bimmer fan. I own a BMW as well. Just keeping it honest. Everyone loves these vehicles. I think they are beautiful, but I wouldn't buy one because they've had too many problems.

My 2006 645ci coupe has been recalled 3 times...well, 2..I wasn't affected by the first recall.
