A good race but why is the Legacy even in this battle?
The conditions were bad but I think the G35/IS/335i are all 3 pretty good cars. Any one of these would be a good choice.

All automatics....whats up with that shizzle! LOL! The commentators voice is comical. The picture-in-picture of the drivers shoes while accelerating is laughable. Who made this stupid video?!?!? Good for laughs...

Well that would be a trick considering all of these vehicles are new generation models not more than three years old.

I like it. Although the infinite came in 1st (?) the BMW was clearly pushing on it and couldve won but didnt get the chance (was the difference 0.00?). The Lexus although fast got beaten by both the BMW and the infinite. The Legacy was in another world.

Good post, thanks for sharing this with us. I guess they use all AT to level the playing field as some manufacturers only offer AT.
A few things caught my attention though:
1. The IS350 was quick off the line but lack the incisiveness of the G35 and 335i- maybe it is has to do with the track condition. Impressive raw power as indicated by the top speed.
2. The G35 is a very potent car, I was impressed with how it held the inside line, the power delivery. Impressive dynamics as indicated by the lap time.
3. The 335i- it's just amazing. I have to say of all the three, it was by far best. If you watch the video and saw how it takes the outside line and quickly switches direction, the power delivery is impressive as well.

4. Legacy 2.0 GT, what can I say, I hardly saw it, so there isn't much to say other than what others have mentioned:should not be there in the first place.

jackass- the IS and G both come in AWD, and the 335i will be available in AWD also. stupid comment and you might be the only person stupid enough to pick the subie over the other 3. And i dont really like the other 3 also, just like them so much better then the subie

Guess G35 got the upper hand this time, 'cause IS350 clearly outperformed the G35 in one of the comparisons they did. 335i is an impressive piece of machinery.

That's very funny how those drivers are so afriad of wrecking those cars.

To me the Legacy looks way better then all three.

wow, these drivers arn't very good, you can never really count on them.

The 335i should have won and it almost did as it had the most powerful engine (both the hp and torque are 300) and it had a manual transmission. The G35 was hampered by the fact that it didn't have the optional manual transmission and other sport features that comes from the sport model. So in the beginning it was clear that the 335i had the upperhand. The IS 350 looked like it had a much softer suspension than the others, even though it took off like a rocket in the beginning it was overtaken. The Legacy simply didn't belong here, it had the least power and isn't even a luxury marque, its only advantage was that it had a manual transmission.

My vote.

I wonder if the G35 despite its hp parity can perform on the same plane in a straight line as the 335. Its high torque peak makes me think the BMW would have a decisive advantage.

Let's see infiniti's 306 hp or bmw's 250 hp... I wonder which would win! Plus Infiniti has way more torque that the bimmers
