those taillights, even though they are almost entirely covered, look nothing like the S2000.

I am not sure if I like the Panamera, too bulky in the back. It should be more like the CLS.

i totally agree on the back. it's a little too...i don't know...but it's not exactly attractive. i'd take a CLS 63 any day!

i agree...with all the talk about the Acura RL 'only' having a 300hp (now 290) V6 and it's getting dogged. if Acura can't get away with it, how the hell can Porsche? and yes, i'm aware that's the ENTRY engine. you KNOW that thing will be overweight! look at the Cayenne!

gaah!! Definitely UGLY !! I dont know why Porsche does it, but it plumbs new depths in fugliness with this car.

As to how it will sell ? in boat loads. You only have look at the Cayenne.

I know Porsche make great sporcars but this is one "UGLY" car for sure. I would rather get the Aston Martin Rapide than this.

Since the beginning of the projet, it is always the same prototype we see but in different colour. Please wake me up when we will see the car without its camouflage. Until that, I will always think that this car is out of interest.

Maybe I'm biased - but I love Porsche (other than the Cayenne - though I know they had to build it to remain profitable). It will have a hard time looking better than the Aston Marine Rapide though - but as long it drives like a Porsche it should still be great.

When the article heading reads 'uncovered', it just means it isn't under some big sheet or whatever, because this car is still fully-clad in plastic and tape add-ons which mask the true shape and detailing of this car.

It isn't exactly rocket science, but that spoiler is part of the disguise. It really isn't that hard.

Also, those who say the Panamera is ugly, Porsche has lost the plot etc. You have forgotten what this car actually is!

It's a four-door supercar! So of course it will be wide, have a big bum (like the 911 Turbo) and look 'fatter' than a Mercedes S-Class, because when it drives along the road, it is meant to look imposing and menacing like only supercar-proportions can provide.

At the end of the day, it is a Porsche, so it has the typical Porsche design elements seen throughout the range.

Chances are, if you can't appreciate the Panamera, you probably aren't a big fan of the 911 anyway.
