Geneva Motor Show: 2008 Bentley Brooklands coupe
Bentley launched the new 2008 Bentley Brooklands coupe at the Geneva Motor Show yesterday. The new Bentley Brooklands gets its power from a 6.75 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 530 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. As with the latest Arnage, the V8 engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. The Bentley Brooklands is ispired by the exploits of the ‘Bentley Boys’ at the famous Brooklands racetrack in the 1920’s.

Lifetime production of the Bentley Brooklands coupe is limited to 550. Expect to see it in the dealerships by the first half of 2008.

YOu must be F'n kidding me... Rapper or football player or not. A Bentley is whatever the Bentley company wants it to be. You don't think atheletes and entertainers can't afford a Brooklands too? What do you think they are the only people who buy Conti GT's? Uhh no...there are a whole bunch of lil old guys, with viagra prescriptions, trophy wives and more debt then they can handle buying them too.

Dawn this Brooklands Coupe is dispointed, it not as sporty, lively and elegant as the Continental GT Coupe.

They cater to different buyers.

Let me put it to you plainly:

Conti GT/GTC=new money

Brooklands/Azure=old money

Arnage and Flying Spur are a bit of both.

Although the seats are the Continental GT seats: not the prototypical ARnage styled seats: a bit sportier.

Lexus,

The Bentley retains it's tradition looks with up to date technology. Like S4cabriofoxone said it caters to old money consumers. It wasn't meant to be sporty just because it's a coupe. This is another level above the GT in class.

Anyways the wood in this car looks gorgeous! Everything just looks right with this car. It's a long prestigious coupe not much more you can ask for.
