I'm sorry I couldn't resist. Who makes the 3 series? Who took that car and then modified it? Alpina is a tuner, in the most elaborate way, but still an outside agent that took a factory car and tuned it to their own liking.

Neither the 4.6is nor the 4.8is had engines worthy of the price differences between them and the 4.4i.

I'd rather have an Alpina 3 Series coupe.

But I still have a thing for the AC Schnitzer E92. Oh, well.

The B7 is my favorite in their lineup.
