Report: Ferrari to launch new model at Frankfurt
Ferrari said today that it is getting ready to unveil a new eight-cylinder model at the Frankfurt Auto Show and again dismissed speculation of a smaller and cheaper Ferrari. Before the end of the year, we will have a new car,’ he told journalists. β€˜It will have a V8 and F1 technology. It will embrace the know-how of weight reduction and high performance learnt from our F1 experience.’ Speculation point to a F430 Challenge Stradale.

I like how it's lower than the production model and of course it's a true track car for this model. It's definitely louder in terms of grunt and it should be a popular car amongst the wealthy who want to have a car for the track.

I just spoke with some VERY good authority at the autoshow and he said that DINO is ON. In fact, it would be a 2+1!!!! Two in front and one in the back sideways. This is from a prototype, but may be carried over to the production version. A wooden mock up already exists and the person saw it. apparently it is a cross between a 430 and a 599 and will be available in 2008.

since ferrari has been adamantly denying a dino, will it have dino badging and no prancing horse? that is a rumor i have heard...and 2008 is only a year away...seems to me they should be further along than a wooden mock up, no?

i'm not challenging you, just asking...
