Spy Shots: Jaguar XF - officials say its the Jaguar C-XF minus 25%
Usually production versions have a hint of styling from their concept counterparts. But Jaguar officials are saying that the Jaguar XF will keep its flavour and will be very close to its concept, the Jaguar C-XF. Of course, that’s due to the huge success of the Jaguar C-XF concept that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show.

We can’t say much from these highly-disguised photo, officials who’ve seen the XF claim it’s the concept car ‘minus 25 percent.’

Since Mr. EvoAudi was so very clear on answering you and not spewing out his opinion of Jaguar, here is your answer?

XJ - Their large saloon/sedan to compete with the S-Class and the 7-Series.

XK - Jags sport coupe and convertible, competes with the respective two doors of other high line brands

E Type - not made anymore but probably the most elegant and greatest car they every built. it was the predecessor to the XK.

S Type - Mid to large sized sedan for those that wanted a Jag but not the price or size of the XJ's. One could say the less expensive Jag. Goes against the 5 Series, E Class, etc....

X Type - Small sporty four door sedan to compete again the 3 Series and C Class, A4, etc....

XJ- elegant, sporty, low weight... it's achilles heel? No technology except an unchangable air suspension.

XK- beautiful. Luxurious, sporty, shapely. Underpowered, though.

X-Type- POS Mondeo. The new Mondeo will be better than this thing.

S-Type- for AARP subscribers.

"Oh and EVOAUDI you are the biggest moron of them all. I have to deduce from your name you like Mitsubisi's and Audi's. None of which are anywhere to be seen in the JD Power studies. "

Audi is now the fourth most-reliable luxury manufacturer, in JD Powers' Predicted Reliability Survey. They are ahead of Jaguar in this survey, only trailing the three Japanese luxury brands, at 11th place.

LOL, a Jag fan talking about JD Power. Odd twist of irony!

I see a lot of Jags around here in Irvine, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Dana Point, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel and Laguna Beach.

I hope it will be as beautiful and breath taking as the C-XF concept awhile ago. Jaguar, you better get it right this time, if not, you will not be playing with the big boys.

jagexpert

Dont call me an idiot because:

1: Im not a jaguar expert.

2: Doesnt jaguar change the name of every series everytime a newer car comes out?

3: The new concepts..... XF, C-XF ??????????

Anyway no one can learn if they didnt ask.
Thanks for Mark for the explanation. (S4 and EvoAudi expressed their opinion [lol])
