Does Jeremy Clarkson think this Lambo is better than its Ferrari counterpart?

Even though I have ordered a Gallardo Spyder, I’m the first to admit it’s not quite as good as an F430 round a track. It’s less delicate. Less poised. But as a car, a mad, expensive, preposterous waste of money, the sheer force of its personality knocks the techno-Ferrari into a cocked hat. This is why I still love the LP640. It’s flawed. It’s silly. It’s got a four-wheel-drive system that doesn’t really work, a sat nav screen that’s been put in place with hammers, and a steering wheel that’s coated in what appears to be a black version of Top Gear dog. Technically, it’s not even as good, I should imagine, as the new Honda Legend. But when it comes to memorable times, do you opt for dinner with a chartered accountant or Lemmy out of Motörhead?

I like Clarkson as a motoring journalist. He has an opinion and he doesn't cloak it in a veil of objectiveness. Every motoring journalist is an opinion writer. Clarkson doesn't pretend its not unlike some of them.

i signed up an account just to reply to this, one the most stupid posts i have ever seen made by some lexus fans. i myself am a lexus fan to some degree, but seriously all you non-english speaking nutcases need to learn some respect. and youre all wondering why everyone flames back? its one thing to say you think the IS-F is better than the M3, neither are out so its a tossup. but a lambo or ferrari? wtf?

I saw 2 killer cars today a brand new red Ferrari F430 Spyder with tan interior and a new yellow Lotus Elise that was flying down the freeway.

For the price of the Lambo, one could own both cars I mentioned.
