Two Mercedes models awarded Car Environment Certificate
The Mercedes-Benz A 160 CDI and the B 200 CDI have been awarded the Car Environment Certificate by the environmental institute of Oko Trend. Both, the A 160 CDI and the B 200 CDI, achieved top marks during an extensive and critical analysis by specialists at the independent institute. To date only 15 car models worldwide have been awarded the Certificate.

Why don’t we get these Mercedes-Benz models in the United States? Well we made a report back in December that DailmerChryselr is planning to bring the two compact Mercedes Benz models A and B-Class to the US due to growing demand in the US for more compact and fuel efficient cars.

I would love to see a hybrid or a diesel A- or B-Class hit North American shores.

Didn't we see this?

Lexusmaniac, why do you hate Mercedes? Just because you like Lexus, you don't have to "hate" their rival. I doubt you've owned a Merc. Will has, so he has something to fall back on... but you probably haven't.

IMO...

C < IS

E > GS

S > LS

SL >>>>> SC

GL > LX

M = RX

Just my opinion. LS vs. S-Class is most arguable... but I don't want to get into it.

E vs. GS is also debatable. And I don't "hate" Mercedes at all. I'd kill for a CLS or an SL.

C > IS, unless youre a speedracer type.

Most aren't.

I thought I was pretty fair.

I like the GS450h a lot, but I don't feel the same way about the GS300 and 430/460 (whatever it is right now)... you need the hybrid's big rims to make the car look good.

On the other hand, the E Sport looks far better than the E Luxury, but that doesn't mean the E Luxury doesn't look good. I also prefer the E's traditional, super-rich interior, as well as its healthy engines. E63 is a rocket!
