Nissan skyline vs BMW M3 CSL vs BMW M5 vs Lamborghini Gallardo vs Porsche 997 S

All these cars are fast but it's all about driving abilities as well and the ability to read the track to pass. It's also driving skills too aside from the cars power. The Gallardo for example is capable of winning but didn't have the opportunity. I give the M5 a lot of credit as it was drifting the corners and the others still couldn't pass him. It would have been nice to see the Porsche up there but too bad the Turbo wasn't in this battle. The CSL held up well against the competition. The Skyline was impressive as usual.

It's not that they cannot pass, it's because he's drifting to block everybody from passing. A 4000 lb sedan is no way a competitor to the pure sports car, however BMW tries to make you buy the lie. That's why BM put its grid so far ahead of everybody at the startline.

Awesome battle, but they are also to worried about damaging the cars as well, for good reason,I'm sure. This does take away some of their aggressiveness.

A very interesting mix of cars. You can tell the performance lineup is excellent when a Carrera S finishes last.

I’m surprised the M5 held the lead for that long --- a 4-seat sedan against dedicated sports cars. It’s monster-fast in the straights. Funny, the driver of the M5 mentioned that the braking effort was hard enough that he might pull a muscle. LOL.

The M3 CSL was very quick around the corners, quick enough to pass a Gallardo. That’s impressive.

Lexus does dominate the North American market, and is having steady success in the rest of the world as well. And there is no doubt that the F-line will have some great hurdles to overcome, mainly the M, RS, and AMG.

Pure BS! GT-R, as a camera car, waited until the last lap to start racing. The last portion of the race is straightline, on which no one car can beat GT-R, other than car in the ENZO class.

you might be right, but it just looked a little funny to me. i have a question- I know all the other cars were stock, but is the skyline aftermarket tuned or can you get it like that from the factory? I thought they said it was tuned, and in that case the race was bullshit, having 4 stock cars against a tuned car.

First off, no the Skyline isn't in Enzo territorie, if you notice the lap times you can see the Gallardo had the fastest lap.
Secondly it'a tuner skyline off which are only 24 build.
Thirdly the price off a Z-tune is more then that of the Gallardo.

If you are a true car entusiast then you would see MB and Audi also make great cars, not just BMW. If it wasnt for Audi and MB, BMW would not be as good as they are today and same applies to MB and Audi with BMW, its all about competetion, and without it car companies would make cars that are not as good as they are now.
