Photo Rendering: BMW X6 by AutoBild

In a recent interview with Forbes, BMW CEO, Norbet Reithofer that one of the two new models coming out in 2008 will be the BMW X6 that will be built at its Spartanburg plant in South Carolina. After some heavily disguised spy shots, AutoBild has finally done a photo rendering of the BMW X6.

AutoBild renderings in the past have been known to be very close to production models for many cars including their rendition of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class that they made two years before the car made its official debut.

The BMW X6 will have a sportier design and alignment, and will be way more aggressive than the BMW X5. Expect it to hit dealerships in early 2008.

From the photo above it look like or very similar the Acura MDX and the RDX.

it's a shame that such an expensive and luxurious car will be made in America - it will deter some buyers, not many, but some.

The X5 is built in America.

The ML, GL and R are all built in America.

Those are all the SUVs I know of that are built here, but I also know the RX is built in Canada.

I think it's going to be like an Infiniti FX; not sure.

It might even be a real Q7 competitor (such as having a real third row). The X5 is ten inches shorter than the Q7.
