What do they mean by "foldable hardtop option"? A foldable hardtop is the only roof available on the SLK.

Though i doubt it, it could mean a couple possibilities:
- Soft-top (really doubtful)
- Solid hard top only (a la coupe)
- The article just stated it wrong (most likely)

Didnt they make that fixed roof safety car? Seems like a fixed roof losing a good two hundred plus pounds and gaining a stiffer chassis could be a good option. Maybe something to battle a Cayman?

The AMG does have the option for a non-retractible hardtop. That is it as far as production SLK's go. And it is a great contender with the Cayman in this price bracket. A whole lot of bang for your buck!

I dont think that's an option... at least here in the states. All I know of is the 030 option which gives different brakes, suspension and increased top speed.

Ugly, as usual. Not very Mercedes-like.

I'm sorry I have an opinion?

I like the TT, Boxster and 350Z better. Although both the TT and SLK are chick cars, the SLK is even moreso. To me, it hasn't lost any of its girly image. At least the TT comes in somewhat more masculine coupe form.

lol. Hate me all you want, but those headlights are beginning to look more and more like the Lexus SC's.
