HUMMER H3: Now in right-hand drive
Hoping to go global with their flagship model, Bob Lutz unveiled a prototype right-hand-drive HUMMER H3 at the opening event of a new HUMMER facility in Manchester, UK. The right-hand-drive HUMMER H3 will be assembled at GM’s Struandale plant in South Africa and will be available in other right-hand-drive markets, such as South Africa, Australia and Japan. Now for those that drive on the left side of the road, you too can have a gas guzzling HUMMER H3.

“HUMMER’s iconic design and unparalleled off-road capabilities appeal to a wide audience globally. We are determined to build upon the brand’s unique recognition in Europe and especially here in the UK,” said Lutz.

Sales of the right-hand HUMMER H3 will start in the summer of 2007.

Some one should go and teach hummer designers how to draw using a free hand, not only a ruler....

I would have to agree. The Hummer does okay in America because everybody with a big ego and small .... want something like this to make them feel "large". The Hummer will be a flop in the rest of the world becauase consumers are more interested in fuel economy and size rather than stroking their ego's, or lack their of.

Indeed! it reminds me of that VW commercial with "low ego emissions"

Hummer owners: repeat after me:
"BECAUSE MINE IS ONLY YAY BIG" *holds fingers out in 1 inch posistion*
I LOVE it.
but they do bag on BMW - a guy screams "BECAUSE I MAKE MORE MONEY THAN YOU" but hey, its all about fun.

Wow. Yay for England. Isn't this wonderful. I just can't wait to see more horrible HUMMERs on the road. Yay.
