Which Jag dork? Me? If so, I suggest you go back and read my post. "I am Evil Homer" got the message completely wrong, so the possibility is that you have it wrong as well. Now as I recall the first sentence of the post is something akin to a negative assertion in essay writing. In latter parts of the message deal with one of the easiest mechanisms to check something like that. That being to assume it it true and analyze a) what conditions must exist for it to be true, and b) what are the results of it being true. Were these to be incorrect or conspicuously absent, then in all likelihood the original is incorrect. I expressed nothing but skepticism about the validity of the article. At the time I would not have said that it was definitely not valid: it was possible. There are a shockingly large number of stupid people in the world.

Daniel Sadek, who donated all of his cars for this movie, that was his enzo that crashed. And to top it all off, he willingly donated his Carrera GT to be tossed of a cliff and totally wrecked....like WTF.

This movie "Redline" is obviously going to be crap, because someone as dumb as Eddie Griffin is in it, why waste your cars on such a crap movie.

Brings a tear to my eye. But the bastard has enough cars to wreck...just dont understand why the Carerra GT had to be one, and why he would let Eddie Griffin drive his enzo...

I really meant, why he would willingly let Eddie Griffin drive his enzo, since it is for a movie, I would at least employ a experienced driver, not some horrific wannabe actor.

Are you sure they don't use duplicate cars for the crash scenes? Like the Aston Martin totalled in Casino Royale was built specially to be used in that scene.

I don't think anyone would willingly 'donate' their car to the junkyard in the sky for a crappy movie, especially a supercar!

Check on Youtube, for it, you will see the guy say they are totaling an actual 480k car. If you keep watching the movie below, you will see how cheesy the effects are.

They are saying that this whole thing is a publicity stunt by the director and I tend to agree. Why else put your Enzo in the hands of an assumingly inexperienced driver and what's up with the non-padded or non-tire'd concrete barrier so close to that sharp turn when you know this car has a tendency to understeer?

usually car companies rebuild impact/wreck test vehicles for crash scenes in movies. Movie execs get them at a discount value, and do not have to add the $1/2 million for a Carerra GT into production costs. These "wreck" scene cars are gutted, rebuilt to protect stunt drivers, in reality nothing close to what we would actually see on the street.

I'm sure he has enough money to get the guy another one. He has made enough B movies and still collecting royalty that he can get another million dollar car. It's not like he's not a multi-millionaire. He's just not as famous as the Hollywood's top. Like Jean-Claude Van Damme. He has a suit in my city in which he bought the whole floor. The suits aren't cheap and in the millions.

But having money doesn't mean you know how to drive. Perhaps some stars are better off being driven around than driving themselves. He seems short maybe he was so low on those racing seats that all he could see was the speedo but had to sit on a tele book to see the road partially.

LexusKing, I don't think he could even drive an Escalade because of his dwarf height. He wouldn't be able to do the 'gangster lean'.

He might have the money to buy another one, but that doesn't mean he can. All Enzo's are spoken for.

Yeah he wrecked a beautiful piece of machinery, but some of you are attacking him as if you know him personally. Eddie Griffin has more than enough money to replace the Enzo, but I bet he doesn't pay a dime. The real idiot here is the one who let an inexperienced driver behind the wheel of his own personal million dollar super car. Why not rent one from some 3rd party or tap the manufacturer? Here's one of the problems with our society right now. The owner of the car didn't crash it, the driver did. He needs to take responsibility for his actions not the person who lent his vehicle. If someone shoots a person with a gun thats not his, is the owner of the gun then responsible? People now a days tend to look for every excuse or deflect any of their own responsiblity to someone else so that they don't have to face the consequences, unbelieveable!

I'm starting to think the Enzo is cursed. This is like the 4th Enzo thats been in a major wreck in the past 2 years.

saw the vid and its all over the news too. even though this was a frontal crash, they keep saying its irrepairable...is the front section integral to the main tub??? if not i think it can be repaired...any thoughts on repairing this enzo???

Haha - this must be a dramatization of "logic gone wrong"... all enzos that crash are red, so only the red ones crash. OR it could be that most people get the enzo in red, and since a higher % of red enzos are out there, it is more likely that if an enzo will crash, it will be red.
