Photo Rendering: The back of the BMW X6

Last week we brought you the BMW X6 photo rendering by AutoBild, but only showed the front. Today we bring you a rendering of the back of the BMW X6. AutoBild reports that the BMW X6 will come four different engine variants including a 3.0d that produces 235 horsepower, a 3.0sd that produces 286 horsepower, a 3.0si that produces 305 horsepower and a 4.4si that produces an outstanding 408 horsepower.

The BMW X6 is already confirmed to go into production at BMW’s Spartanburg plant in South Carolina. The SUV is expected to hit dealerships by early 2008.

I'll wait till the actual photos show up before i judge though, considering the fact that there hasn't been a single new BMW design in the past 6 years or so that i've liked i doubt i'll like this one.

Yeah, Im a bit confused of the purpose of this car asd well. It has the same profile as the dodge caliber. (not a good thing)

A can see a Cayenne in it's rear.

Point of this car is to dethrone the FX(a SUV) for being the closest to a Sports saloon/coupe.

I like the idea.Let's see how many makers can actually make a design that good(FX) or come close to their claims of designing an SUV which is the closest to a sports saloon/coupe.

I think u all got my point.

Your comments are typical of a German sheepdog. BMW is not the center of all that is automotive.

BMW getting away from Pontiac with Chris Bangle's designs? The new 5-Series is the most Pontiac-like vehicle that isn't actually a Pontiac. Chris Bangle was no revolutionary for lifting Asian designs from the '80s and '90s. He should, however, be thanked for forcing many Asian automakers to make their products look like they do today. The Camry and LS look more Asian than anything else on the market.
