Maserati launches GranTurismo site

The Maserati GranTurismo is one our favorite new cars unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Now you can experience and learn about the new Maserati GranTurismo in ever way possible at the newly launched site over at http://www.granturismoisback.com/ (you’ll have to register). The Maserati GranTurismo will have a 4.2 liter V8 engine, delivering 405 horsepower giving it the ability to do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. You will also be able to configure your own GranTurismo starting in June.

I agree this car is a looker but where does this car fit in its respective car segement? Its not in the same segment as BMW, Audi, Lexus. Porsche and Ferrari? I think given the choice and the funds most of the people who post on this site would rather a Ferrari or a Porsche.

i dont think the m6 does 0-60 in 5.2 seconds.....this car is definitely really close the aston martin quality, but the performance is not looking good in paper, hafta see it and drive it in person to really know what this car is like, but for now...all i can say is it looks really really really amazingly beautiful....performance wise...not very astonishing...considering its got over 400 hp, i would expect naturally a better 0-60 time, but this car truly looks amazing 8O

I´m still not sure its as good as the competitors in this range, concerning long term quality etc...but this is defenetly a car you buy with your heart. It looks absolutely stunning from any angle, the engines has a great crisp note, and the handling is not bad, id guess it handles just as good as an vantage v8, but not in porsche,ferrari leauge. (only the MC 12 is there)
