Nice but still not as attractive as the 'Coke Bottle' flanked 993 Turbo. My neighbor's got the 993 here in San Francisco. Still stops me to look a lot more than the 997 Turbo does (too many here in SF- all driven by bald bankers from the financial district).
Also, this 480Bhp stuff is becoming a bit passe- I hear the Nissan GTR's gonna do 520. Porsche's got the herd breathing down its neck- the next wave of 911s had better distance themselves from the pack. I believe the Infinti G35 does 330bhp from a 3.7, the base 911 does 325, while the bigger 3.8 does 355.
Agreed power isn't everything but still... if the herd's going to outpower the leader- Porsche is only gonna get run over. Now that it's decided to take over VW, I can't say that's not going to happen.
Also Porsche- while you're at it, take the interior up a notch will you?

Me Too :-)

That is as close as you are ever going to get to a SuperCar that is useable Everyday.

You cannot drive an F430 Everyday (You would get loads of dirty looks after day 2)

You cannot drive a Gallardo/Murcielago Everyday (Guaranteed to find your car Keyed-Up by day 3)

997 Turbo or Turbo Conv can be driven EveryDay and even Parked on the Street and nobody will have a single bad thing to say about its owner.

And you could keep up and even outrun the Ferraris and Lambos.

PERFECT VEHICLE FOR ME
Now how to go about getting one
Hmm !!!
(Im sure i can survive with one Kidney and Lung)

Nice! good job by Porsche. The turbo is very under-rated and I like better that way. The performance is outstanding.

It's nice they make a convertible, but I always like the coupes more. Don't know why, I just do.
A man who lives in my street bought one (coupe) 2 months ago. It's in the colour I want (black), and he said he's looking for some aftermarket rims.

When I suggested Techart or Gemballa he just looked at me as if was speaking chinese. Typical :-)
