Which engine?...The one one that overheats on the desert if pushed too hard?

yeah, you know, because one failed one a track they obviously all will. Even though lots of magazines have tested them. And they haven't failed. And everyone loves it. But yeah, that one.

I am still not crazy about the look of this car, especially the back end. I like the old version much better. Interior wise looks too familiar to an Altima

GTR35, I would only worry about that if I went to a track in the desert. Otherwise I'm sure I'd have no problem beating on it in regular streets or any other tracks.

Have any of you people ever been to an automotive journalist test day before?? The manufacturers invite a large group of them to beat the hell out of the car for a good amount of time. The Edmunds Test was most likely done in extremely high amibient temps. Not to mention that the track temp was probably sweltering causing massive amounts of grip. If any of you have every owned a factory turbo car before you know that high temp+hard driving=extremely high engine temps. I am betting that BMW had their ECU tuning on the car tuned for the conservative side. Hence the car going into Limp Mode. PROTECTION!! HMMM Thats a thought. I mean it is a mass produced vehicle. We all want street legal race cars but c'mon who are you trying to kid. Simple re-flashing of the ECU and a colder fan switch and I am sure that you will see drastic improvement in YOUR driving. Not the "beat the car to death" performance of the journalists in the AFRICA hot heat of the desert of Willow Springs. If you are buying a 335i anyway, you can fork over the extra dough to safeguard your $40K investment. Who would buy this vehicle for a track car anyway and leave it stock. You should stick to roundy-round git-r-dun racing if you have that notion.

To any aspiring G coupe owner, I'd tell them to get a sexy G35 two-door while they still can.

G37 will obviously be super-fast and will have superior dynamics, but the unimproved looks just drive all that crap about 330hp out of my mind.

I feel bad for Nisfiniti. Their designers are just re-hashing old designs at the moment. I hope they'll try harder for the next batch of redesigns.

I LOVED the Nissan/Infiniti design rennaissance. It was a massive step up, and set them apart from bland Honda/Acura/Toyota/Lexus designs.

Their cars all had a flair that was lacking in many competitors.

Especially the G35 coupe. That was easily my favorite in the Infiniti lineup, let alone the Nissan group.

However, I feel like they haven't changed anything with some of these new models. I don't want a big revolution again- just something fresh. The G37 misses the mark, IMO.

To me the new G37 is sexy as hell. It is much better than the outgoing one in every respect.

The only car that I like from BMW is the M5..Therefore, this new G37 is not only better than the previous model, but it kills the 3 series coupe in the looks department..

Don't feel bad for Infiniti. With the exception of a couple of vehicles, they have been putting out great product for a number of years now and kick the crap out of Audi with the G, M and FX in their respective classes. And they won't be in the shop at least once a month with annoying reliability problems like Audi's ALWAYS are. Reserve your pity for Audi, the retarded stepbrother to the 3 series.

They make some amazing cars.

But if I thought they were better than my car, I would have one.

A friend of mine has a last-gen G35 sedan... the interior is cheap as hell, but it's a good car, nonetheless.

I wouldn't feel bad for Audi, either. They're only the #2 luxury brand in the world, making about $1B in profits.

Wow! this G37 coupe is stunning, I love the zeon light, I hope the production model has it too. It definitely better looking than the BMW 335i for sure.

And not only it a better looking car than BMW, it has better realability as well. Yeah! German fanboys, when the BMW 335i was push to it limit it could not handle and went overheat.

And please don't teall me about the this cheap BMW 335i shit. If you get two either one of them fully loaded, the cost of each is very close. Anyway why would want the ugly, unrealiable 335i when I can a better looking and more realiable vechicle.

Hey! here is a million dollar question for you German fanboys; so when that BMW 335i went overheat in the four lap, is that what you call "soul" LOL :) he....he...he....ha....ha....ha....

By the way, when is the next gen for the Infiniti M35 and M45 come out? hopefully it they fix that ugly rearlight. The Infiniti M35/45 look great from the front but the back is not attractive at all.

FYI, Infiniti's cars aren't the most reliable.

According to your beloved Consumer Reports, they are very close to Audi right now. Audi is #11. Lexus is #5, I forgot what Acura is, and Infiniti is somewhere in 7-10.

Do some more research of your "SOW-ER-KROWT" description of the 335i. You can't keep touting the Edmunds test the "TESTS TO END ALL TESTS" You are aware that they are not the only form of automotive publication. Check what the other mags have said about the 335i, you will be surprised. But, alas, something tells me that you are as closed minded as they come. I bet you don't even know that you are "admiring" a Toyota.
