Infiniti EX Concept - Elegant Interior Design
Elegant Interior Design

Like all Infiniti vehicles, the EX Concept is conceived to offer a reinvigorating and engaging interior environment, one that is both indulgent and inspiring. The “wave-inspired” cabin layout is focused on the driver, with easy-to-read high-contrast gauges with violet-color illumination and an electric soft-touch shifter system.

The EX Concept’s rich, leather-appointed and aluminum-alloy trimmed interior also offers plenty of passenger luxury – with deep, supportive seats and an ambient lighting system that includes special indirect headrest illumination.

A large, leather-appointed center console box provides utility for driver and front passenger, while the instrument panel includes a wide LCD monitor and signature Infiniti analog clock. The advanced audio system includes aluminum speaker finishers, matching the door-side trim. The roomy rear cargo area combines function with design with its aluminum-alloy flooring with luggage rails.

"The EX Concept’s interior is all about driving pleasure and passenger comfort,” said Igo. “Like the exterior, it offers a coupe-like feel but surprising utility – ideal for today’s active lifestyles."

Really well done.

With the thing coming out later this year it will be interesting to see the final result.

Love the lighting in the headrests!

Seeing how they refused to go with the beautiful interior of the G37 Concept I'm sure the final product wont look as nice on the CX. I hope I'm wrong, though, because that is a nice interior.

looks like a really nice Subaru Tribeca interior.

That is really nice, way better then X3 and RDX... Unfortunately production will probably look nothing like that. Standard Infiniti move.

The swoopiness of the overall design is very reminiscent of the Mercedes CLS which is not a bad interior at all to mimic.

It's only a garbage truck if you're riding in the back seat.

What are some of you seeing that I'm not? It looks like a normal Infiniti interior, but with more intricate designs on the dash.

I'm sorry, but after driving an S550 on Wednesday, nothing seems to measure up on the inside. That car is just something else!

What are you going to do next, compare the performance of a Ferrari F430 to a Nissan Sentra SE-R?

No but, I'm serious.

I don't OWN an S550. I'd like to, but that has nothing to do with this.

What's so special about this interior? It's an improvement, but it's nothing revolutionary.

wow very nice interior. Infiniti needs to step up their quality more to get close to that of a Lexus, they've acheived the sporty driving on all their cars, the quality is left now, and also vise versa for the Lexus, they need to step up their sporty driving on their cars.

Agreed. Lexus guy kinda cringed when I asked to drive the IS250AWD, after I told him I'd just driven the G35x. After I drove it, I knew why.

All this comparison talk,

It's like Jeremy Clarkson comparing the LS to an ultra luxury sedan like the Rolls/Bentley/Maybach. It's world's apart and has to beat the S-Class as the Merc is the benchmark in modern day engineering. Just because Lexus dominates the US market it doesn't dominate the worldwide scale in high end luxury saloons. As good as the S-Class is they make no claim it is a Bentley, Rolls Royce, or Maybach competitor. That just shows what the world is coming to. Because of one person simply comparing two cars those two cars are immediately considered the same level. Which they are not.

I'm going to get a lot of heat from the ladies from the Toyota bandwagon but I need the support from people who agree.! haha

I get what you mean. It's kind of like when you guys compare all German products to God, and all other makes to garbage.

There is no credibility here.

As if yours was anymore appropriate than anyone else's here?

Your problem is you can't ignore comments you don't like. You always feel a need to respond. You don't always have to respond, you know...
