2008 Subaru Impreza WRX - What do you think?

I think its designers should be forced to see all 5.000 episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful”. Believe me, ugly I can take and sometimes even fall madly in love with; take the Alfa Romeo SZ & RZ for example. What I can’t stand is dull, penny-plain creations like the 2008 Impreza WRX; take out the Subbie stickers and we might as well be looking at a mid 90’s Kia pipmed by XZIBIT’s clergyman

Well, I take that back, actually. The current-gen Legacy was quite nice-looking when it came out. It was the "light at the end of the tunnel..." or so I thought. They're back to their old, hideously ugly ways.

UGLY! Subaru has cheapened their image!. That rear is ugly. Actually the whole car is ugly. It looks like a Ford!

I got my MotorTrend magazine and saw this in it. Unfortunatly, the WRX got ruined big time. Ugly front, ugly interior, ugly rear, ugly sideways, its simply ugly all over. I would chose the current model over this any moment.

I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL SUBARU OWNER FOR 6 YEARS AND I AM A SPORT CAR ENTHUSIATS AND RALLY DRIVER. I WAS HOPING THE HATCHBACK WAS GOING TO BE SUBARUS AGGRESSIVE LOOKING CROWNING GLORY BUT -WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE TO AN ICONIC PERFORMANCE CAR....... WELL YOU HAVE TURNED IT INTO EVERY OTHER LOOKING KIA MAZDA/SEBRING/CAMRY/CORROLLA THAT IS ON THE ROAD TODAY. HOW THE **** IS THIS SUPPOSED TO GET PEOPLE INTO SHOWROOMS WELL MAYBE GRANDMAS AND SPORTY MOMMY'S. IS THIS THE PEOPLE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

I agree "toter", i looked at the sedan and the hatch this past weekend at the nyc auto show.....both cars are very bland/generic looking. A real disapointment! What the hell were they thinking.The current 07 model looks much nicer.Shame!
