Great, yet again the driving force over at Lexus, ...the engineers..no...the design team..nope..the marketing group!..they come up with yet another gizmo campaign to convert the masses..come on grow some b@lls and develop an image based on technology or design or something other than fluff! Seriously, by reading articles (or having somebody read it for you), you'll actually learn that Lexus actually has more tech gadgets and innovation then any of those cars you mentioned.

Come on guys, why take this all so personally? I did nothing more than criticize Lexus (a brand) marketing startegy and you insist and making it personal. In stead, why don't you respond to the criticism, Will seems to have an opinion on how this compares to the Europeans strategy or lack thereof..go at it then, fill us in...and now floz educates us that Lexus has more "tech gadgets" than any of the europeans..(which is the problem I have, its gadgets we need less of), go on then Floz, what other 'gadgets' and innovations are you referring to? If they do, this is the sort of info worth pushing..

But this is really besides the point..I actually like a few of their products but the image is just so weak, I think Lexus needs a better image and it cannot come from a pure marketing approach, if you disagree why not discuss the point and not get your panties in a wad, whould you get so bent out of shape if I said the same of Toshiba, Sanyo, LG or General Electric?

it's a concept car and they've been taking it to every show for at least 2 years, so if you think they have such a good car there, you do you think they still haven't produced it?

Hey I live in NYC and this display was put up back in 2005 to debut the IS. So its not really news to us up here. It is a really cool display!!! Any car lover visiting NY needs to look at it. LEXUS IS NOT A REBADGED TOYOTA. The only vehicle they have that is is the LX470... and not only is the Land Cruiser good enough to begin with, but they don't even sell the LX where you live! You wanna talk about re-badges, go check out the Pontiac G5!

Gogo only cares about styling and image when it comes to cars. That's seems to be the only thing that she thinks about. So sad.

There are a lot of innovative things that Lexus has done, they are just not very apparent because they are more than skin deep. But, unfortunately, you cannot understand them because they do not all involve style or image. All brands have been know to copy other makes in one way or another. Yes, you can point out many Lexus' copy cat styling, but you can also point them out for many other brands as well.

Very good point. I have a E320 and E500 and they are nice cars, also Have a Lexus RX330 and is a nice car as well. In my country there is Citroen, Peugeot and Renault, but styling sucks, I much rather get an Alfa Romeo or Lancia.
