I didn't any post when Acura bested Audi/Porsha in the 12 hrs endurance two weeks ago. Man! this site is bias it reminds me of our President. "My way or no way at all."

I think the win two weeks ago was significant, because you had to hold it for 12 hrs, which shows reliability.

I forgot! Lexus/Toyota didn't win it that is why we did not see it post it in every thread of this site.

The Acura beat the Porsches, not Audis at Sebring.

I agree - with all of those handicaps - factory backed competition or not - that is still amazing. That's like an NBA team being only allowed 3 players on the court playing against a good college team with 6 players and the court. Still I'm sure that some will still say that Audi isn't good at racing. You can't convince everybody.

WOW its amazing that you can breath and walk at the same time. NASCAR? Please. Turning left for 4 hours is so exciting. Its about the same as figure skating; if you have to watch it, you watch it for when they bust their a**.

"NASCAR just adopted unleaded fuel, and formula 1 still hasn't figured out how to transfer any meaningful technology to daily use, yet alone a diesel."-Caltrans

...think about that one a little harder...

Yeah and NASCAR still use pushrod engines. "Dang mang wud duz Dohick mean?" (DOHC)

Remember kiddies the R10 is a diesel.

Do some research about the percentage of diesel Vs. gas cars sold world wide...

Point- Audi introduced FSI in 2000 with their R8 LMP car. If you dont know what FSI is look it up. If you are lazy and ignorant; which your post shows, its direct injection. How many cars are introducing this technology in ROAD CARS?

Antithesis- TDI (Again if you don't know look it up. I'm not telling you this one.) This technology was made available in street cars. Audi introduced it to their racing program to be different and more fuel efficent. The Shell branded diesel fuel is much much cleaner than the junk that spits from your pushrod heap. Look into ULSD fuel and be amazed. Read the EPA report.

Also, being a NASCAR fan you are aware of the slogan, "Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday." Enzo Ferrari, Ferry Porsche just to name a few started their companies to RACE first, then sell the technology from the race track to the showroom.
