Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione: Sold out in Japan before production
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione goes into production at the end of 2007, but anyone in Japan looking to drive away in one, this news may be a bit depressing. You guys already know that only 500 of these beautiful looking things will be made, but the 70 8C Competizione coming to Japan have already been sold out with the first set of deliveries to start in 2009.

Japan got their first official look at the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione today at its major launch party. For those who don’t know the car is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine that produces 450 horsepower.

How ridiculous is your comment?

Japanese cars still outsell anything else in all of the world.

70 is definitely too little for a country that frequently expresses love of Alfa

(Fuji Heavy engineerers , Integra Alfa Body kit buyers)

Design Wise,To me it looks even better than the new Maserati Coupe and Audi R8.

Stunning.

It is no surprise that this beautiful automobile is sold out before production. I hope that very soon, Alfa Romeo makes it back to North America.

I don't think selling 70 cars is that hard for the year if the car looks that good and performs great.

I'd have to say the Drama in the sheetmetal is what's driving the japanese crazy over these cars. A Toyota Camry's sheetmetal is a pale substitute for the Alfa's sexy curves.

My only problem is:

IT LOOKS GOOD // BUT WILL IT DRIVE GOOD ??

Reason i ask is; The Brera looked the Dogs Bollocks (Excuse My English) but was totally unrewarding to drive (Even the V6).

So i am sitting on the Sidelines on this one till i see How It Drives.

This car looks very sleak! The rear lights could have been different though.

Alfa is known for its design but I am not so sure if it is wise for alfa to come back to USA since it is not nearly as reliable as the Japanesse brands.

Well obviously it's a stunning car. Still haven't read any reviews on how it drives.

That's because it's not a car yet.

They should reintroduce RWD transaxle cars again..the old RWD´s had such good weight distribution and balance.
