Aston’s new DBS is scheduled to launch in October and the four-door Rapide in 2008 says chief executive, Ulrich Bez, who revealed details to AutoExpress Magazine. Production will no longer be limited and new model development will speed up too now that Aston has an influx of cash. Bez told AutoExpress, “Under Ford, we always lost out because there had been other calls on the money. Furthermore, there is no longer a ceiling on our production numbers. The only limit is the capacity at the factory in Gaydon, Warks.”.....

Now that's what I call good news.
I've always liked aston martin and since the V8 Vantage is on sale, I'm starting to see them more and more.
With the coming of the rapide, maybe this will happen even more!!

Aston Martin makes some of the most beautiful cars in the world. I hope management and labor can come to terms on a new agreement.

Aston consistantly puts out beautiful designs. I'm glad the company sounds optomistic about its Ford-free future.

DBS is super sexy!

Those movie producers has hundred of million of dollars so they really don't care. If they want to, they call buy 10 Aston Martin right away.

I wish I have that kind of money $$$ know what I mean. If I have the money, I would like to own, the the Aston Martin Rapide, V8 Vantage, DBS, Lexus LS600hl, 599 GTB, Ferrari 612, BMW M6, Lexus LF-A, GS-F and the Lambo Gallardo.

Right, just like that comedian bonehead the other day crashing a Ferrari Enzo into a wall was most likely a publicity stunt for that car movie.

I agree... except, for me, swap the LS600hL for an S600, and I'd rather have a Murcielago than a GTB. Otherwise, we share dream cars...

Hey, you never know. They might get better.

But I don't fu¢king care how reliable my DB9 is as long as I get to stare at it for at least two hours a day!

Maybe its a conspiracy; call me crazy, but doens't it seem that every thread turns into the Lexus troops rallying their cause no matter what the topic. I bet that if the topic was totally off anything remotely Lexus, like Lamborghini building a new tractor, the Lexus fanboys would say they can wait for the F version of the LX570 with the optional plow attachment to beat its A**!

On the other hand, I just realized "LexusAdmirer" is a real person.
