New Aston Martin DBS Caught in the Nude on the Autobahn

This is the new Aston Martin DBS, scooped by PistonHeads. Ignore the faux DBRS9 badging, this car is destined to take over the mantle of Aston range-topper from the Vanquish.

The big coupe was spotted in a parking area close to an Autobahn in Germany where it had been undertaking some high speed testing before the model goes on sale in October of this year. Although the Vanquish line closes this summer, sources at Aston Martin are refusing to call the DBS a successor to the old flagship.

Anybody know why the Vanquish needed replacing? And is this just a higher trim level of the DB9, or a whole new model. I recently had the pleasure of driving my Aunt's DB9 convertible, and it was the single most exhiliarating automotive experience I have ever had. The DB9 is world class, but if the Vanquish was better..... I still dont understand what happened to the Vanquish.

mromar1, not all Lexus fan ar bias toward everything they see. If you do a search on all my topic that I have post for the past what 3 or 4 years, I have complemented German brands as well.

Don't belief me do a search, and ask Chewy, S4, they know what I have posted in the past. I have posted both pos and neg both on the Japanese brand and German brands.
