I think they can get 1.5 million before 2015... that's very conservative. They will break a million this year, and that's a 100-something thousand car increase over last year. If they get great gains like that every year, they can 1.5 million by 2011.

They can *HAVE* 1.5 million by 2011.

Profitable growth is the key. The more profit made - the more they can invest in development. That makes me wonder why they are bothering to build a Mini competitor. To me the should continue to focus on getting the biggest return on investment (like Porsche). Audi is taking the world by storm. Can you imagine the position worldwide they would have if they had a better standing in North America? Many people frown upon certain other brands for extensive marketing, but I don't know who would disagree that Audi could stand a little better advertising in North America.

I personally haven't had electrical issues with my Audi vehicles (or any issues, for that matter), but it's not completely phased out. They are moving up dramatically in reliability, however. In the latest CR survey, they were only behind the three Japanese brands (and uncomfortably close to Infiniti), at #11. Cadillac, BMW, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Porsche all trailed, in no particular order.

Apparently, the 2009 or 2010 A7 will be a beautiful four-door coupe. Either that, or a BMW 6 Series competitor.

I don't know. It's always a possibility. Just not a very profitable one.

Wow, you are a loser huh? Get your history and facts right. VW owns Audi but unlike Lexus and Infiniti Audi existed once on it's own and could currently. Audi has there own platforms and own technology. Please don't blog just to talk trash unless you have facts to back it up.

Beautiful cars- much more so than BMW.

Big deal. Audi might only sell more vehicles than BMW and they sell in the same premium luxury segment. Big deal that BMWs main competitor has gone from verge of collapse to #1 premium luxury car manufacturer in the world in just over 20 years.

Of course BMW is still #1 though because they are BMW.

Yes, the Audi A7 is a four door coupe coming from Audi. It will compete with the Mercedes CLS and is going to be released in 2009.
