actual sales recordings will tell all,......

I portend these 2 will set new all time records for Infiniti group.

More significantly, heads are rolling at LEXUS as to how this struggling car company was allowed to come back from the throes of BK-dom,.....and fill the niches which LEXUS never thought profitable to sell.

Don't pin Infiniti against Lexus like that.

Let's see Infiniti make vehicles that compete against the RX, ES, and LS. Lexus did their homework.

We don't care enough to write a lot. This is a car blog, not a school essay.

Its very easy, the G35 was absoloutly stunning, and this new G37 is simply elevating everything about the previous..Definitely a STUD..Much sexier exterior, improved interior and a better engine, all in all a winner..Infiniti has established a good name in such a short time with a couple of solid cars..

DUDs.. There's nothing special about it.

007 is really pushing Infiniti this month. I think the styling of these cars are ok. I dont see anything class leading about them. I say neither stud or dud, numerically I will give it a 6. Engines - 9.

A stud is where you do a double take and scratch your head, do i like that car and styling, i 'll take a better look on the internet or in the showroom.
These two have you scratching your head for sure, stud all the way for Infiniti this go around.

EX is for sure a DUD! I don't think it's sleek in style whatsoever, plus it looks like a Hyundai with it's swooping character line. The interior however is beautiful!

The G37 is starting to grow on me so I'll say STUD, but the new Altima coupe looks to similiar which is good for the Nissan...bad for Infiniti!

DUD on the G37 coupe. And that can be summed up in one word: Altima. I cant believe the Nissan would allow the cars to be so similar looking inside and out. The G37 will suffer because of this.

DUD on the EX concept as well. The exterior looks like a re-freshed FX and while I think that interior is gorgeous, its safe to say that almost all of it wont reach production.

+1, G37 = dud. Way too similiar to the Altima coupe now. Rainbow Fish philosophy doesn't work in the competitive auto world.

did some of you bump your head? i was at the carshow this weekend and the g37 was one of the best cars in there. its a stud for sure . the ex is ok to me but its just a concept for now we will see what infiniti will produce

EX us a huge stud, G37 is a somewhat lesser (but still studly) stud. Awe-inspiring performance for such an inexpensive vehicle.

The EX exterior… dud. They made the same mistake Porsche made with the Cayenne. It looks as though someone grabbed the top and bottom of one of their cars and pulled, creating an awkwardly stretched look; and the rear is identical to a Hyundai Santa Fe. (Who would have thought their tail lights were so inspiring?) The FX is miles ahead on exterior styling. In fact the FX should have been the starting point for the Infiniti branded look, not the new M or G.

The EX interior… stud; but they also had an incredible interior on their FX concept car too, and the production model debuted with a cabin fit for an Altima. (Though the FX inside is up to par now.)

The coupe exterior… dunno yet. Seeing the pictures of the test mule at the press event, I thought an intern had designed it. After seeing a few more in-the-flesh photos, I’m starting to bend a little bit, maybe even like certain lines; but it is clear they’re not setting any new benchmarks here. I immediately thought the first gen coupe was nice… they didn’t pull that off this time.

The coupe interior… not "stud," but they didn’t miss the mark either. They cleaned up the interior as they needed to, and I actually like it better than the 3’s interior now... especially since the 3 cabin has slipped a little in design and therefore perceived quality. The 3 still has tighter cabin stitching, but Infiniti’s is just more pleasant, and still managed to retain a "sport" element.

Coupe is a Stud. Nice improvement overall.

The reason we want more detailed comments is because it makes it more interesting because we know WHAT it is that makes the vehicles hot or not.

I like the EX because it looks more refined and elegant than the FX and I think the G37 design is a step backwards because it is trying too hard to make a statement.

And yes, it does look like it is melting! ;)

The G37 is lame. Wow, it has coupe proportions.

And? What's new? It looks chintzy and tacky.

because the G37 has the exact same interior as the new G35 sedan I'm gonna go dud on this one. It's a nice interior, but since it all ready exists in one of their other cars I couldn't really get excited about this car.

The EX concept is hot though. I like the coupe'esque design and the interior is simply amazing. If the interior looked like that for production I think I might have found my next car. If you can't tell, I prefer a nice interior over a nice exterior. Because I don't see the interior while I'm in it ;)

Hey WicketRabbit - have you seen the 3, 5, 7 series BMW's? All their interiors are the same too. Not to mention the 3 sedan vs. the 3 coupe.... Same..

The coupes always will have virtually the same interior as their sedan counter-part.

DUDS I went yo the auto show this week and say the G37 after I went to BMW, AUDI and mercedes and i have to say that the old G35 might get you a lil resprect in the 3 series and c - class crowds but this new one looks too japanese and too cheap to pay 35k for Id rather a used BMW for that price and with the addition of that ohh se sexy AUDI A5/S5 I think their market is gone the altima might sell but the g37 wont
