Pricing Announced for the 2008 Buick Enclave Luxury Crossover SUV

HHHHMMMMM???? Let me see...well a Saturn Outlook @ $33,990(can), then the GMC Acadia @ $36,990(can), now the Buick Enlcave @ $40,895.00(can)to start?!?! Well I look at it as rebadge, rebadge,...and rebadge. Same platform, same engine, they did an okay job seperating themselves exterior wise, as for interior they con't to use very generic interior components. It's a game of pick "n" choose on your budget. And have you ever compared the fuel comsumption on the canadian website vs. the american website for any of the 3 models? Geograpically speaking as to how we drive these cars everyday, there is really no difference. So why the gap in fuel ratings? As I have driven both Saturn Outlook and GMC Acadia from full tank to empty(based on today's gas prices, it cost about $85.00 average to fill a 80 ltr tank and barely crack the 400 kms range), as for the excellent fuel economy that was just mention? That's quite bogus.

My wife and I looked at the Saturn Outlook which we consider nicer-looking than the Enclave and a better value for what is essentially the same vehicle. It's all academic however as my wife wants a smaller SUV so we'll have to wait for the new Saturn VUE. I think the Enclave should be offered with the Cadillac Northstar DOHC V8 available in the Buick Lucerne.

I agree. I like these big crossovers but they seriously need a V8 under the hood. 5000 pounds is too much for that V6 to get going. I'm sure the GM bean counters are responsible. To them, so what if it takes a performance hit, it slashes millions off their bottom line.

It's nice to see everyones take on the RX. Before you bash me, I am not a Lexus 'fanboy'. I love all car marques and truly believe that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (and necessary in competition).

I agree, the CX-9 is very attractive. I've never owned/leased a SUV or crossover but would get a CX-9 if I had the need for that kind of room.

I have really started to like the MKX lol i know its kinda a pathetic cuv but the black looks hot on it. Edge is even better tho. I love the outlook..i used to like Murano but got boring. Highlander never liked it n never will.Rx looks good but is a womans car. I hate all Acura crossovers

When looking at US Prices, they actually seem reasonable. I mean for a buick, I have to say this is by far their best looking vehicle. Putting aside its obvious imitation of the Lexus RX 350 (put your finger over the buick emblem in the picture and you barely tell the difference) this car has true personality and very sleek exterior styling. GM just can't quite get interior design right, but I would say this proves they are on the right track. Aside from the hideous center console in the middle row, I think the materials look good - especially the dash design.

As soon as i got to "FRONT WHEEL DRIVE MODEL" I lost all intrest in the rest of the article.

Sorry but this american atitude of "just make it look good on the surface and it will sell" is just Arrogant. What Pees me off even more is that these Retarded Target Consumers are still buying these Insults to Automobiles.
