GM desperate for European flavor

GM is planning to import even more models to the US from its European subsidiary. The latest car is the Vectra Caravan, which will be sold alongisde the Aura sedan.

The introduction is part of GM’s push to offer more fuel efficient cars in its lineup. Both the Aura and its new wagon cousin are important vehicles for Saturn and form the basis of the brand’s rejuvenation as a profitable label that can compete with other European imports.

Looks nice. If Saturn plays this up, they could restart the family wagon segment. Passat and 6 have been by themselves for too long.

Saturn's revamped lineup looks good and fresh. It looks good to go. People who want a sports convertible can turn to the SKY. Not the fastest car but a good summer car at a good bargain.

Considering how the Ion has been replaced by the Astra and that the Relay isn't in production any more (GM pulled out of the minivan market)...

this has been a long time coming. Finaly someone has noticed this. Now if FORD would do the same and bring the their European and Austrailian models over as well

GM is tapping into it's only source for German engineering; Opel. No surprise that's it's working out for them.
