This has just put all plans for a new vehicle into the Bin.

Was in the market for a new X5 (Canadian Winters are Horrible so need an SUV or AWD Vehicle). Had my mind made up and now i see this thing. I am going to AUDI website now to see when this will be available and what the Specs & Prices are.

I saw the Audi S5 yesterday at the auto show. I was given the rare opportunity to sit inside the car. I had spoken to one of the reps and she told me to come bacl later after the crowd and she will see what she can do. I was so excited. The seats are even better than the ones in the S6. I can honestly say that they are one of the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. Keep in mind I am 6'2" and 280 lbs and fit like a glove. There is no comparison to the BMW's. I was a huge BMW fan but the current line of cars don't do it for me. They might drive great but it is a shame the interior is so stark and styling is not what it used to be. I never thought that I would be so impressed with the audi but it is even nicer in person. I am the proud owner of a Infiniti M45sport and love the car but it lacks the ability to drive well in bad weather. Being that the Audi is AWD is a huge plus. The trunk was a nice size but is a little too narrow I think for Golf clubs. I can't wait to drive one!!! This looks so much better than the BMW 3 series. Not to mention the morons at BMW didn't bring the new M3 to the NY auto show! Sorry but when this comes out I will have to consider this when my lease is up. Way to go Audi!!

You know follwing the 90's when Audi had all their technical glitches (especially in the A6), I became a skeptic. However credit must be given, because they've been trying very hard and succeeding at revamping their image.

That aside, this car is stunning. The s5 and the e92 m3 are two beautiful contenders, and are surely going to be butting heads, but what better way for them to learn and improve upon each other?

it appears bmw e93 m3 will be a better performer, but this s5 looks so much better built in fit & finish. the lines are elegant and quality in material is top notch, much like the mercedes.

agreed. the rs5 has got be anxious.
