Well Lexus had to start somewhere. And for KIA so do they.

Kia Optima in the US.

It looks the same as before... Q45 front, bland-o-matic rear. Nothing even remotely interesting.

john, if Kia wants to make its name known, and have it up there with Honda, they have to TRY. It's so transparent that there probably weren't even designers for this car- it's just a bunch of straight lines and generic light clusters. If they want to reach Camcord status, the Optimagentis must be sleek, different, almost sexy.

Sevor, no (sigh), not even the beige interior! LOL.

but still, if I was to see a sexy, different, sleek Kia on the road, the reputation behind the Kia brand just won't make me go as crazy as if I saw, say, a toyota

Reminds me of a Cadillac, the deville perhaps?
Also the last LS.

Kia "The Power to Surprise". Please surprise us then damnit LOL or change that to "The Power to Uninspire".

They are making some steps in the right direction with good advertising and refreshing their products. I don't believe they have a 'design language' yet unless copy-and-paste is one.
