New Spy Shots of 2008 Accord - This Time from an SLR Camera!
Brenda Priddy's crew stumbled across some more white 2008 Accord coupes undergoing testing today. And this time they were packing digital SLRs, so we now have an even clearer look at the '08 Coupe's styling.

Some people seem to think that the '08 Accords will be arriving in showrooms sooner than is usual, but we have solid information that they will be arriving during the traditional September time frame.

I think it looks better with camo.

Looks like Honda has adopted the hooded design (à la S-Class, A6, Q7) for its new Accord. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Well, it is more reminescent of the A6/S. The Bangle version has the hump centered in the middle of the dash, while the one used in the Audi models as well as the S-Class has it connected to the instrument binnacle, angled towards the driver (you can even press a button next to the S-Class's screen literally angling the screen towards either the driver or passenger).

Yeah I mentioned that in an earlier post....that interior tells me they have been in a BMW here lately

This looks yummy (that's a technical term :)

How about a hard-top convertible?

The corresponding coupe versions of the Accord, Camry etc. were never meant to be anything other than two-door alternatives to slightly smaller families that do not need the traditional four-door entry-level sedan. It is really interesting to see these companies take more interest in these cars and make them sportier etc. What a nice segment this will turn out to be with the Altima Coupe and Accord Coupe. I do wish Toyota would come back with a new and improved Solara, but if what I remember is correct, the Solara is over.

It looks good, you can almost name that an Acura CL. I have no idea why they discontinued that car. It was not a bad coupe. Acura should bring them back again with a nice design and better performance and they will definitely sell like there is no tomorrow.

I think this change is less significant then the change that happend from the 06 Altima to the 07 Altima. It looks like they simply took more of the TL/EuroAccord and put it on to the current platform. The inside does look nice from what I could see. I would probably by the Altima Coupe over this mostly because of the VQHR V6.

I think once that masking tape comes off it would look a bit more attractive from behind. Someone said that it looks like a Civic, I disagree.

Is it still FWD? If so then they can keep it.
