I knew the S-Class would be on there! I've seen three or four white S550s in the last few days... it's still beautiful. In any color, except their odd maroon.

Oh by the way, I think the normal RR (especially the Range Rover Supercharged) looks even better than the RR Sport in white. My $0.02.

The Lexus ES is actually really good looking in white. It almost looks silver because of the metallic flakes in the paint.

I've always liked the XJ in white [mine isn't: it is Burgundy]. For some reason it always has reminded me of Beverly Hills.

I've always thought white was a great color. It's easy to live with because it doesn't show dirt, scratches, swirls or wax residue as easily as the darker colors. It stays cooler in the sun and it doesn't date the car as quickly. With that said, blue is still my favorite color. I would buy a used white car, a new blue car.

Black Mercs are getting old... but I'd still take an S or CL in any color. They are still stunning, and I still stare at them, after a year and a half on the market.

How funny, I just read an article from the UK about how Black is the new silver and how white looses loads of money in depreciation as nobody wants it. Nobody buys white cars here, it's not on the Top 5 colours at all.
I admit I am not a fan of white cars.

I am surprised the SL did not win the convertible category. I generally do not like white cars either, but there is a white SL600 here in my neighborhood that I just think looks like an angel.

White & black have always been my two favourites (stick to shades because colors seem to fade). I personally feel Bimmers look the best in white, especially the 6 & mostly the 7.

I agree 100% that the white is back.

Here in Middle East nearly 90% of all 50K + cars are White. Especially The Arabs loves White. For them it’s a status symbol, it represents class, luxury and prestige.
Even 90% of them wear and choose white as the color for their Kundura’s.
Kandura is Arab’s traditional dress which is a long shoulder to feet 1 piece dress.

My list would be:

Supercar: Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Coupe/Audi R8
Ultimate Luxury: Rolls-Royce Phantom
Large Luxury Sedan: Mercedes S-Class/ BMW 7 series
Midsize Luxury Sedan: Lexus GS/BMW 5 Series
Luxury Convertible: Mercedes SL
Luxury SUV: Range Rover/Audi Q7
Utility Vehicle: Cadillac EXT
Hybrid: Toyota Camry Hybrid
Compact Car: Audi A3
Small Sedan: Honda Civic

Luxury Coupe: Mercedes CL
Luxury Sports Sedan: Lexus IS
Sports Coupe: BMW 3 Series Coupe
Cross-over: Infiniti FX
Mass Produced: Toyota Corolla

Yeah man, who doesnt have a white kundura here :)

They say Im mental, but I like silver the most on cars, especially BMWs. White doesnt look bad either, and its a colour nice on any car. But too many white cars on the street... so silver is my choice.

M53R, it's the opposite here... WAY too much silver. IMO it's the most boring color you can get on a Merc or BMW; alas, my neighbors have a silver X5 3.0i and a silver E320! Boring!

Interesting how different places prefer different colours..... But here they buy white cars because they are way more practical; we have so much dust etc. But silver is beautiful IMO. Anyways black looks best but gets dirty really quickly! So silver is my choice.

I saw a 335i coupe in white and it looked great. I also agree that the Lexus ES350 looks sharp in white. On another note, I saw a pink Audi. Wow, I hope I don't see that again anytime soon.

I wanted my CTS in white, but it would of taken to long to order with the black interior. So, I went with black on black combo again. No regrets.

Im not really into white, i can se people living in nice dry places like California, but not here in Denmark, where it rains a lot, the car will look dirty all the time.

I live in Houston where its hot as hell in the summer, so I need a lite colored car + its easy to keep clean!

Considered silver, but my last 3 cars have been silver...white is refreshing...and the metallic in the paint is just awesome in the sun!

My ES350 is Starfire Pearl (subdued white). It looks lusterous and beautiful White color also reflects sunlight in summer months making the car cooler in the interior. It also keeps heat inside during winter months better than any other color. This is extremely important when living in a desert community.
