I'm surprised there are no VW's on this list...

Since when VW is considered luxury?

There's an Audi there, some may consider it a VW...(Did I actually say that?)

VWs are not considered "luxury" vehicles... right?

Sorry...my bad

Missed the word luxury.

I think they meant LUXURY???

I'm surprised the BMW Z4 is #1, not that it will change my mind, but it's at the top of my list for my next car. Well, the Z4 M Coupe, but looks/features wise, they're quite similar. I've always considered it a more masculine looking car. The Mercedes SLK and (newer) CLK on the other hand I've always associated as a woman's car. A hot woman's car at that.

Yeah, where's the CLK? It's the most feminine convertible on the market, bar the New Beetle!

Suprised the IS Lexus is on there. Here I see a lot of men driving them. Maybe it's different elsewhere.

Yes it is different from city to city and country to country.

Also suprised the BMW 3 series is not on there since I see so many women driving them.

Good question. I think that should be there instead of the Range Rover Sport.

I agree with you guyz.

The RX is such a female looking car, where I live in NY no dude get notice for driving one of those.

Over here if you see a dude driving one, is car either on the shop, trying to save gaz or running erons for the wife, such soccer practice.

Was just about to post asking where the RX was, total female oriented luxury car. Maybe not luxury enough?

Why no X3/X5 3/5/7, C/E/S/CL/SL/SLK/ML/GL, ES/GS/LS, A4/A8/Q7???

I've seen plenty of women driving all of those.

(kidding. these lists are stupid.)

Fun to drive dosent mean its not a "chick car". The Z4 and to a lesser extent A3 are very fun to drive. The A3 is definately a chick car though.

The Z4 is actually a girl car, but it's the only BMW that I absolutely hate! The other ones are nicely designed but the Z4 looks off balanced and awkward.

I'm in LOVE with the A3 and would have one now if I didn't think it was horribly overpriced. Is it really a woman's car?

Like I care.

It is a very good car. Audi needs to incorporate some of the options into the std base model. The pricey options add up quickly. What's up with the $2800 nav?

Ha! The A3? I've seen all of ONE woman driving them! In L.A, they were all over, and honestly, that's the only place I've seen a woman driving it. My A3 is sweet. finishline, go for it- the 2.0T DSG ISN'T overpriced. Only the 3.2 is.

I know three folks who own a IS, two are adult women (one is a realtor) and one is a 24 year old "kid". I think this car is popular with women and 20's guys, but once you reach 30, you have to move on to the GS, or better yet, to a German brand to maintain your masculine image.

There is a handful of IS 250 AWD's on my campus. Most of them are driven by women. But there are just two IS 350's and they are both driven by males. I hope this car doesn't stay on the feminine list, because I will seriously consider it after my lease is up on my CTS.

I'm above 60, male, and I bought the IS because I still want a car that's enjoyable to drive. The GS felt too mushy to me and didn't corner flat enough. I test drove the A3 2.0T with the s-line package...an incredible handling car and a blast to drive but I thought it would be a little too firm a ride on trips for my wife.
This whole discussion on the gender of autos is kind of dumb. Do people have too much time on their hands?

I can see what you mean. The A3's ride is very stiff... but I like it that way. I can't imagine how stiff the S-Line version is; I just have an '06 with DSG and a factory bodykit.

I am surprised why the Audi A3 is pictured while it only placed third. You wouldn't put a 3rd place finisher in a race as the only photo.

Plus, like I have said before, the whole male/female car is completely irrelevant.

If the tag didn't read "...Luxury...", then no 1 would be a VW Eos.

i have a feeling that mostly woman drive the IS250 and mostly men who drive the IS350. i think according to the demographics, sales are pretty much split 50/50 womne/men. what gets me though is that theres at least a 3:1 ratio of IS250/IS350. so i dunno...

oh and all the Z4 owners i know are all men. only a man could love a Z4's looks =P

It's embarrassing to hear someone doing the "girl car" call in 2007. Don't we all outgrow that stuff some time during high school?
