Is it just me, or does this car look exactly like an Infiniti G37?

Wish they sold it here as a Nissan, same great car minus the frumpy infiniti brand

When you see this car on the road you'll ask yourself...is it a Skyline or G37? Though I'm guessing we on't get this in the States?

now that Lexus has started in Japan, you can bet that Nissan and Honda will be looking to bring the Infiniti and Acura name plates to Japan as well. It's only a matter of time.

that is what worries me about launching Infiniti in Japan. Lexus and to a certain extent Acura, do a great deal to differentiate their luxury divisions from their regular cars. Infiniti is not completely doing this yet. For example, why would anyone in Japan buy a G35 when it is almost identical to the Japanese skyline currently being sold. Why would anyone buy a Q45 when the Nissan President is the exact same vehicle, I am not sure about the M45. Nissan really needs to make the Infiniti brand look different from their Nissan counterparts in Japan, something Lexus is really good at doing. Yeah Lexus does platform sharing just like everyone else, but you must admit, you will not generally mistake a Lexus for a Toyota. I don't think Infiniti can succeed internationally if they don't start doing this as well.

stone, you don't understand.

The Infiniti models would REPLACE the Skyline, President, etc.

In Japan, before last year, Lexus was the same. The Toyota Celsior was the LS430, the Altezza was the IS300, the Soarer was the SC430, the Harrier was the RX... but now they're badged as Lexus models. The same would happen with Infiniti and Acura.
