Back in the 80's enterprising entrepreneurs did just that, and invented the sport of bar stool racing. From those rather draconian roots grew a sport that quite frankly, rivals even modern day lawnmower racing. Check out the winning race at the O'Reilly Bar Stool Racing World Championship where the grand prize is a rather remarkable $10,000 in cold hard cash.

While full manufacturer support is not a prerequisite, we here from underground sources that a certain leading manufacturer may be using this venue to train their upcoming F1 and NASCAR drivers.
