I believe he initially wanted to order one with an AMG package but didn't want to wait so long for one, so he bought one without an AMG package and then did buy the wheels.

Will is correct. It was the launch edition color (some kind of cool grey), with the designo interior and AMG rims. Beautiful.

the LF-A doesn't even compete with the CL, it goes against the SL, duh. Lexus has barely 20 years of heritage while Mercedes-Benz has had over 100 years. How can Lexus have "cleaner" diesels if they don't have the new urea-injection system that nearly every other company is starting to use. Mercedes is so prestigious with all those different markets because they make great cars in nearly every market they enter. (except for in the passenger car market during the late 1990's to pretty much 2 years ago)
Lexus doesn't make that "crap" because that's Toyota's market. (You know, Toyota, the parent company of Lexus, or did you not know that? In most countries Lexus has been under the Toyota nameplate until very recently if not still) If Toyota and Lexus were one nameplate in America, then there would be tiny Yarises all the way up to the LS, just like how Mercedes builds the A-class all the way up to the S-class.

Lexus sucks, it look like upscale cheap toyotas,
The LF-A looks like Spock Car the design doesn't seem to be finish,
Mercedes built car which look good and go through the age.
How look today a Lexus from the 80 and a MB, the Lexus looks like old rusty scap and the benx still have it's classical look.
