Japanese Exports To US Rise For 26th Straight Month
They probably won’t be too ecstatic about it in Detroit, but now is an absolutely fabulous time for Japan’s vehicle exporters.

Figures just in for March 2007 show that exports surged 8.1 percent to 568,303 units, which makes it the 20th consecutive month to register an increase.

Again in March, exports to North America were up for the 26th month in a row, while shipments to Europe registered their 15th consecutive month of growth.

Japanese exports=Profits exported to Japan.
How are foreign car companies good for the U.S. economy? Oh yeah, they aren't.

In todays global economy that is a pretty sad statement.
Its like nobody should buy Intel or any electronics that are manufactured in the far east. Because most of their IP is owned by american companies.

It is quite pitiful for someone to have such a simplistic view of global marketing, isn't it.

FOR A GLOBAL ECONOMY JAPANESE EXPORTS ARE GOOD FOR EVERYONE. THE FREE TRADE AGREEMENT IS TO THANK FOR THIS. THINK OF ALL THE GM EXPORTS TO EUROPE AS WELL.

TYPING IN ALL CAPS IS FUN. IT'S LIKE I'M SHOUTING AT ALL OF YOU OBNOXIOUSLY. I THINK I'LL KEEP THIS UP FOR A WHILE.

China as well. Can you imagine if the Chinese choose NOT to buy GM, GM would not even be a close second to Toyota in terms of global sales.

Free trade is great until you run into things like our country's trade deficit.

Westside7th, you know that the GM has manufacture plant in other country right? yes the have a auto manufactured in Mexico, because they want to save money on labor.

Japanese brand, is not the only one screwing the U.S. auto industry. Even the American brands screw their own people by having plant else where. What about the German, Kia brand? and all the other brands that taking sales away from the big three?

Hey! you want other people to buy American cars, tell the Big Three to make better looking, more reliable, and better fuel mileage vechicles.

This is a "FREE" freakin country, people says what they want, whenever, and do whatever they want with their money.

You act like the the Big Three care, many of the Big Three employee is getting fire or lay off...while their CEO making hundreds of millions of dollar.

Like you said, it's a free country and I just said what I wanted to.
It is a global economy so U.S. companies outsource and buy parts and assemble vehicles abroad but the profits come back to the U.S. and are invested in R&D here and donated to charities here. Foriegn companies invest th majority of their profits in their home countries and the money spent here is mostly to try and be "American" to appeal more to the U.S..

Why don't tell that the many American family who's getting lay off because GM want to save money on labor. And pay their CEO hundred of millions dollar a year.

All the Japanese auto company has their manufactured plants here in the U.S. too. They offer a good security job for many American family and contributed the U.S. economy too.

Yes! it is a free country that is why I'm writing this in response to your common.

Stop blaming Japanese brands, what do you get against them? do you work for GM, Ford or Chrysler or something. What about the German brand they take sales away from the Big Three too.

The Big Three has "NO" one to blame except themselve, period............your're sound really pathetic with your bitching and crying about how Toyota Screw the Big Three.
