Next-gen Prius Coming In Three Different Flavors
Toyota gave us a preview of a next-generation hybrid model with its Hybrid X concept car (pictured) that debuted at the recent Geneva Motor Show. Given its familiar shape, many pundits, including us, quickly surmised that this was a preview of the third iteration of Toyota’s eco-friendly Prius. According to an article from Automobile Magazine, Toyota will in fact be releasing three new hybrid vehicles labeled the Prius A, B, and C, with the new models due in 2009, 2010, and 2011 respectively.

A company source revealed that all future hybrids will carry the Prius name tag, with the three letters denoting different vehicle sizes.

06GS300, if you describe BMW designs in that manner, then please, tell me, what makes Lexus's design theme so much better than the rest? Originally, Lexus carbon-copied Mercedes models; now, they're aspiring to copy BMW- notice how much the LS and GS look like the BMW 5 Series.

Sounds like an interesting idea, special design for Hybrid with no space penalty by batteries.

Prius A Yaris-size 80+mpg, ~$15K
Prius B Prius-size 65+mpg, ~$20K
Prius C Camry-size 50+mpg, ~$23k

Only thing could stop Toyota will be something like Sony laptop battery fire.

does anybody understand that these are concept cars and not the actual preduction looks? cause it seems like im the only one. All concept cars are make believe...so yeah end of all the ugly bashing

Agree with "Gogo6" about French cars. About 50 years ago I admired the Panhard and Citroen for their superbly comfortable seats. Panhard had the advange of a rust-free aluminum body as well. I hope that Citroen's currrent flagship makes it to North America.
