Glass I don't believe. GE Lexan, maybe. I have very little use for government safety nazis but glass is dangerous because nobody ever bothers to clean up the glass left on the road after an accident. Glass destroys tires and flying glass cuts people. In this instance, I advocate a law to ban the use of glass except for windows and headlights.

Agreed. Since this is a 'Vette, after all, I suspect the hood is clear fiberglass.

Looks like one of the workers in the factory snuck in a camera phone. Cool hood. If my engine put out over 650+ hp I'd want to show it off too.
