Nissan GTR Proposed Prices!!
Whether the images are photochops or not, the Nissan GTR is going to be hot. The standard GTR will be priced at roughly $57k, the V SPEC $67k and the EVO version $94k. The standard GTR and V SPEC will hit the 480hp while the EVO reaches 530hp from the VQHRTT engine and weighs in at 220lbs less than the standard GTR.

Definitely it will be hot, but how hot it will be in comparison to the others? So far, I only heared speculations about this car, and even the 7:15 seconds of the GTR lapping the Nurbergring has no valid proof.
I would like to wait and see a production GTR compete with others. People say it will compete with the 911 Turbo. Well, why not, I would love to see it beat the 911 Turbo, but honestly, if they can make it as good as the GT3, I will consider it an achievment for Nissan!! By the way, I consider the GT3 better than the Turbo.

And you forget GT-R costs half of 911-Turbo. People usually forget badge cannot make a car better.

It is very hard to ignore the car badge though. I agree with you that a label on the car doesn't make it better, but certain badges built a reputation for their products to a degree that expectations of buyers are always high. Such badges will lose if they couldn't meet such expectations. Regarding the GTR, its already facing high expectaions from car enthusiasts, so I would like the see Nissan is up to this and make a great car that more people can afford.

SupraNeverBack, i do not necessarily agree that a badge doesnt make a car better, i believe that its the mechanics and the ability of the company spending more $$$ on developping a particular car, but yes for most people with a low cash 2 spend obviously will go 4 the GT-R so it makes it a better choice not only performance-wise

What's the difference between the GT-R and the V-spec that commands an additional $10 grand? And everybody agrees that the GT3 is better than the Turbo, but only on tracks. For everyday driving, the Turbo takes it hands down. And you can take the Turbo to the track on occasions as well. But lets not forget that the Turbo costs $20,000 more than the GT3.
