Spies unveil details of the next iterations of the Toyota FJ Cruiser-Exclusive scoop!
Reaction to the Toyota FJ Cruiser has been nothing less than extraordinary since we first showed the concept over 3 years ago.

Something about it just makes you smile and just like the original, the performance and durability is legendary.

So how do you improve on an already fine vehicle?

Here are the lastest rumors...

Sources tell the Spies that this fall at SEMA Toyota will show a couple concepts that will give us a glimpse into the future.

The first will be a convertible version.

And Toyota has not missed the phenomenon that Jeep is experiencing with a longer, full four door Wrangler.

Our sources tell us that Toyota is seriously thinking of following suit and stretching the FJ to accommodate four true doors and add cargo space.

We also hear that they are re-considering adding a hybrid model into the mix.

We can't wait to see the future of the FJ!

Those 2,200" rims have got to go ASAP! Everything else is great.

Really? Looks like someone took off that white plastic roof and put a cheap ragtop on a regular FJ. Looks pimpaliciously custom with those wheels too!

The FJ Cruiser is the worst Toyota car ever. It looks bad for Toyota and should be discontinued. It would be better suited for the Scion brand since they have that funky looking box cruiser-type vehicle.

Anyways if this was more refined and had a Lexus badge surprisingly I think people would still buy one.! :-p

Agree with jon21 about the rims -- let's not make it a Las Vegas pimpmobile. I'd like to see Toyota take this wonderful machine to the next level and make it a retractable hardtop. There are too many vandals these days with knives ready to cut the top. I've only ever had two convertibles in my life and I can assure you that it's just a matter of time before one forgets to put up the top. Convertible tops flap in the wind with annoying sound at highway speeds.

Being a shamelessly biased Wrangler fan myself, I think this is great!! Maybe having a hybrid, convertible FJ with four doors in the market will give Jeep a much needed kick in the arse and they will finally give the public a Bu-Tec DIESEL option!
