The front of concept car is awful, but the real car is so beatiful! Skillful manipulation of lines, merging volume in and out of body suface, it looks so much better than the concept car, and it's not shameful to say, "Bring it on!"

Agreed, this looks way better then the concept version, those black "Band-aids" that were under the lights have been removed and the car looks way better now..

Although i think the rear looks a little extra, just so much going on, glad they kept the r34 style lights though...OVERALL AN IMPROVEMENT.

That thing is a beast.

wow, pure beast. all black should look nice, even with the wing. doesnt look anymore ridiculous than the 911 turbo wing...

WRONG...the 911 turbo wing fits with the design of the car. The mid-engine/rounded back provides a much better design for a wing than a front engine car with a squared boot lid.

the wing on the GTR looks like a giant zit on a teenager's face. let's hope it only comes on the EVO and the other two models are sans wing and cleaner looking.

GTRs were never about being pretty.. it shows most of you guys don't know that much about its history.

Pure performance.

it certainly doesn't look as nice as the R34, but its not that bad looking, i think the performance from the evo might actually be the strong point of this car, as long as they keep the weight down they MIGHT have a slight chance of competing with brands known for sports cars.

GTR never a cute car, they are mean and powerful look cars, still waiting for final pictures

That is one ugly car. I sorry! I would love to have seen this one succeed, but it can't with that body. Nissan needs to do more with the GT-R in line with with the likes of the G35 coupe.

So does this car compete with the Saleen Mustang?

I did not think Nissan was interested in multiple variants for the GT-R. Atleast the variants will have more to them other than odd-long names this time. I really want to know what seperates the standard GT-R to the V-Spec version. Other than having 530 horsepower, which is around the same rating the GT2 is rumored to have, what will the Evo model present to the table?

Seriously when that car arrives, it's OVER!!! There are not many cars that can compete with the Skyline GTR when modified. I'm a little disappointed with the price tag, which is much higher then the R34. In the past, you could buy the GTR and with a few mods, smoke almost any exotic if you're racing off the line or from a rolling start. But now it would seem that the price tag will put it up there in the 'exotic' category vs. the intrinsic street performer. Almost for certain we'll see it in the US as an Infiniti... another disappointment.

But the car itself is truly mean looking, and will live up to its' reputation.

It'll be sold as a Nissan in the US. I recon that the GT-R badge is the only real badge on this one.

The GT-R since it's origin was not not designed to be on the cover of Robb's Report mag,you caviar eatin' snobs. It's purpose in a REAL driver's hands is to punish the pavement it rolls on and anyone that challenges...PERIOD! By far the most intimidating street ready machine I've seen in years will be on the U.S. soil real soon. I prefer Galaxy Black w/titanium polished alloys...and the BEAUTIFUL wing.
