Video: 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer commercial (plus new images)

Here is Mitsubishi’s commercial for the 2008 Lancer. According to the advert, Mitsubishi “thinks” the 2008 Lancer is street legal. Well Mitsubishi, with a 2.0-liter, 152-horsepower MIVEC engine and a 0-60 mph time of 7.8 seconds, you’re definitely street legal. Maybe you should’ve saved that line for the next generation EVO. Anyway, pricing starts $16,598 as stated at the end of the commercial.

The design is awesome. It fits right in with the new Outlander. I dont want to see Mitsu suffer, and they can get back in gear with better designs. By 2009 model yr they need to incorporate this design language into the Galant, and with decent performance, it just might be a "consideration" with the likes of the heavyweights in the midsize 20k-30k range.
