Why doesn't Citroen bring their cars to America because they look like really nice designs?

If you think Mercs are unreliable...wait till you have french cars.

You may get your wish sooner than you thought. I've seen dozens of Peugeots in Greater Detroit over the past few months with manufacturer plates. About 2-3 years ago I started seeing Alfa Romeos with manufacturer plates and now they're re-entering the US market. Though, I didn't see nearly as many Alfas as I'm seeing Peugeots. I know that Renault maintains an office here in Detroit, but I don't know about PSA.

I'd love to have the C6 and not the C3 shown here. The C3 may be cute for some but it's a death trap because of its small size.

A death trap? It has 4 EuroNCAP stars, the same as cars like the LR 3, Honda Cr-V and BMW 5 series.

Seriously, French cars have the second worst reputation for reliability. Italians are the worst.
American cars at least fall apart slowly, French ones decide one day to blow up.

theres only a few good things french cars are good at. they make good car crash scenes for movies like ronin or transporter. they also provide heat to juvenile delinquents. is it any wonder the germans conquered the french twice?!

French cars are very unreliable.One of my friends peugeot 307 had some serious trouble with gearbox after a year. He had to change it. Unfortunately that's not the only case.

More about French cars. I'm dating myself by looking back to the days of the Panhard and Citroen DS but French cars have always had very comfortable seats (like sitting in a living room). A couple of years ago, I spoke with a former authorized dealer in new French cars, now strictly a body and restoration shop, and he told me he never wants to sell French cars again because the factory and/or distributor imposed too many administrative headaches. I still want to see the C6 in North America.
