Hamilton leads the F1

After four races, and a record-breaking four successive podiums for a rookie, Lewis Hamilton leaves Barcelona as the leader of the 2007 Formula One Drivers Championship, something that not even he could have imagined possible when he signed the contract with Ron Dennis back in late 2006. But despite not winning his first race yet in motorsports elite series, Lewis is showing the kind on consistency that allowed team mate Fernando Alonso to take the 2005 title with Renault, and the kind of spirit that made such names as Jim Clark, Ayrton Senna and Gilles Villeneuve title contenders on so many different occasions.

Congrats! And that's his first year in F1. I don't know if anyone has ever achieved that good result in their first year in F1.

No one has achieved this result since Bruce Mclaren did it way back when.

Hamilton rocks. The guy's got class and he's extremely consistent. Massa's an idiot. And Kimi's gotta start bringing his A game.

By the way, was that an the lug nut or an extra lug nut that came off Kimi's car in the pit???

Lewis Hamilton the next Tiger Woods of F1?

This kid is amazing! He has some of the most aggressive moves I've seen since Michael Schumacher. And he's so polite in the after race interviews that I have found myself rewinding more than a few times to see if he "really said that". He politely insults and challenges the "veterans" of the sport in a manner in which I don't even think they are aware of. It's hilarious to watch! I'm surprised someone hasn't stood up and demanded to go outside for a fist fight. I can hardly wait to see what happens next week. Great stuff.
