Isuzu who??? What the heck happened to this company??? In the early to mid 90's the had the US's largest & best selling import SUV with the Rodeo...then suddenly they did not replace it and then they had badged engineered cars (GM and their negligence to foreign companies they own!! Look at Saab)Really weird how they went from best to unknown....

Dont for the trooper....the Japanese Jeep...tough and reliable.

Poor brand image killed their stay in the us market.

Did you know...most diesel box trucks that say GMC are running Isuzu diesels?

GM ran Isuzu out of the States to reduce competition. Isuzu is the oldest truck maker in Japan and still makes tough and reliable vehicles. Everything GM touches goes to hell and a handbasket. Look at Saab!!! Hopefully Toyota will buy Subaru and save them from GM's rath.

Poor Isuzu. What happened to GM happened to Isuzu. Well cant blame them (Isuzu), they did see that GM was #1 AT THE TIME and joined together. Maybe some company will pick up the slack for them.

Isuzu Rodeos actually well built but not in the Categories of say..Toyota trucks but as far as engine goes..its probably almost par when it comes to long lasting.

M35MT is Correct. GMC trucks use Isuzu's diesel engines and I do believe its called DuraMax.
