ah yes, you never had the joy of a Carlton. Nor the actual joy of the Lotus Carlton (3.6 TT V6), which could do 176 mph in 1993 or something. Many newspapers in the UK wanted it banned.

I remember!! Never got to drive one, only read about it. Also looks like an old Astra sedan when you see it taped up like that!
