A new Vector W8

The car looks like a Gallardo/Murcielago put together with some very edgy lines. It looks cool and all but I doubt it will be like that if it were to ever hit production. It's too abstract and not smooth enough like it's European competitors. It would look good in a racing game on XBOX though but in reality I don't know about this Vector.

It probably won't be cheap and at that price most would be looking at European (Italian) super cars. But it would a unique piece of engineering to own. I can see Jay Leno owning one of these just because it's American and it could be another piece to his garage.

I think the first picture in the link is a Gallardo convertible. You can see the Lambo emblems on the wheels...the rest of the photos are of the Vector

Only difference is almost anyone can buy a Vector if they can afford it. An Enzo you have to be on an elite list whether you have the money or not.

Sure the Vector may be exclusive and all but the process you go through to own an Enzo is what makes it even more special. You are chosen!

Afterall it is a Ferrari. Most of people in the world probably never heard of Vector anyways. But when people think of supercars they think Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Porsche, and now Mercedes with the SLR. There are smaller companies like Pagani and those more custom build type of supercars but any car in this league is exclusive.

I hope Mr.Vector don't only think straight line power. He should really test it on the twists and turns. Or else it can not beat an Enzo for sure. Even less chance to do so.

I need a towel

The VECTOR was a cool car with ultra-bad timing akin to the Jag XJ220. The time when surpercars floundered. Too bad, they could've been developed and modernized to today's standards had they been developed during the Internet boom when Lambos were the hottest vehicles around and price meant nothing. Would be cool to actually see another supercar here in the US rather than read about all of the ones that exist in Europe that we will probably never see outside of a car show.

If memory serves me correct I believe the real reason Vector faded out of existance was because Lamborghini stopped supplying the engines, making the venture that much more expensive and complicated for a small Florida based company.
